Coding Deep Dive: Moving from blocks to text
In this hands-on session, attendees will learn about resources, including Code.org and Scratch, to introduce and teach block coding as well see how Codesters' drag-to-text toolkit and project-based curriculum leverages best practices to help you bring powerful coding instruction to your upper elementary and middle school students. Attendees will have the knowledge and resources to successfully and confidently implement a coding program at their school.

Agile Ways of Working: Applications for Education
Bio-Medical Devices, Machine Learning, Self-Driving Cars....

These are just a few of the types of products being developed using Agile ways of working.

In this session, we will discuss and simulate some of the practices within Agile product development and explore how they might apply to education. 

These industry practices build hi-tech career readiness and can be applied to maker spaces, coding projects, project-based learning, student video production, team-building. 

"Agile" is an umbrella term that refers to team management and product development practices that lend themselves to adapting quickly to change and delivering value early.

While Agility has its roots in the software development industry, it is being applied in a variety of contexts including filmmaking, finance, nutrition, and education.
